Select and enroll in a 2026 health insurance plan at Ben’s Chili Bowl (1208 U St. NW) during the annual 24-hour enrollment marathon. The event will kick off on Friday, Jan. 30, at 6 a.m. and continue through midnight on Saturday, Jan. 31, when open enrollment closes.
Individuals and families will have the opportunity gather information, ask questions and meet with enrollment specialists one-on-one during the event. This open enrollment period is especially important for residents who have experienced changes in employment status, income or household status. Attendees are encouraged to bring proof of income and residency.
Several other open enrollment events will take place ahead of the deadline at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library (901 G St. NW) including:
- Tuesday, Jan. 27, from 4 to 8 p.m.
- Wednesday, Jan. 28, from 4 to 8 p.m.
- Saturday, Jan. 31, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The DC Health Link call center can be reached at (855)-532-5465 and is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m to 8 p.m. for virtual assistance. The center will operate with extended hours on Friday, Jan. 30, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 31, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
