Wednesday, the Bowser administration and the DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) announced a senior-targeted a daytime pool party, ”Early Bird Drip.’
The event will be a party for over 100 District seniors at Theodore Hagans Pool (3201 Fort Lincoln Dr NE.) Wednesday, Aug. 24 starting at 11 a.m.
This event, especially for DC residents aged 50 and better is a unique spin on DPR’s family-oriented “Late Night Drip.”
Late Night Drip was series of late-night pool parties this summer on Friday evenings from 6 p.m. – 11 p.m. at various outdoor pools across the District.
Early Bird Drip will include a catered meal and feature a 360 camera booth, giveaways, games and more fun for seniors. Transportation will also be provided.
