A pot of $200 million remains to be distributed to help DC residents pay their bills and stave off eviction or utility shut-off. DC Officials say that part of reason they haven’t been able to distribute funds quickly enough is due to the complicated nature of the application, which requires certain documentation. The webinar is designed to help streamline this process, making the application easier for those who need funds allocated to help them.

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, September 11th, there will be a Stay DC Pop-Up at the Big Chair Parking Lot (Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. at V Street SE) to support residents with submitting their application for STAY DC. Walk-ups are welcome. However, if you attend the however, webinar in advance, you’ll be able to come fully prepared to register for assistance at the pop-up event.
