Join the Marshall Heights Community Development Organization (MHCDO) for our virtual volunteer kickoff meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 27th. The meeting will take place via zoom.
Late last year the MHCDO in partnership and the Ward 7 Business Partnership were awarded the DC Main Streets Grant by the DC Department of Small and Local Business Development (DSLBD). The grant allows them to implement a Pennsylvania Avenue East Main Streets Program to deliver commercial revitalization services for businesses located along the Pennsylvania Avenue SE corridor from the John Philip Sousa Bridge to Southern Avenue SE.
During the meeting, organizers will provide an overview of the brand new Main Street-what it does, how it does it and why they need your assistance. You can learn all about the ways that the program will benefit Ward 7 and ways you can get involved.
