Interested in getting your child into a foreign language? Now is as good a time as any. East of The River (EoTR) Foreign Languages for Kids is offering Virtual Spanish Classes in May.
EoTR Foreign Languages for Kids is a Ward 7 non-profit organization that provides language services to children living in Wards 7 and 8. Teachers offer total language immersion as well as the promotion of global competence, global citizenship, critical thinking and cross-cultural integration.
At EoTR Foreign Languages for Kids, children learn new languages, make developmental strides, explore other cultures and make friends. Language classes use music, games, art and stories to teach kids new languages. Classes are usually offered at locations in Ward 7 and 8, but have gone virtual in light of the COVID-19 and are now being offered via Zoom.
Classes are planned for every month through the summer. Every month EoTR Foreign Languages for Kids will send out a notice for families to register, so subscribe to their newsletter today.
The two weekday classes are held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday mornings and 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m Thursday evenings, and are open to families with kids ages 3 to 9.
